Is your clients website mobile ready?

Do you still spend many minutes explaining to your client the importance of getting their site mobile-optimised? We’ve all been there. The thing is few C-level executives have actually tried to load their sites on a smartphone to see what the experience is like.

One tool I find quite persuasive is Google’s GoMo initiative at howtogomo.com. You simply input a url to see what it looks like on a smartphone. The website also gives you useful tips specific to the kind of site you are eg lead generation or branding. By putting up a set of competitors results side by side one can make a better case than arguing with smartphone penetration stats for hours.
